Cimteq is delighted to be nominated for inclusion in the Wales Tech 50 list.
It is one of 85 companies in the country that have been shortlisted as an innovative tech company. The shortlist is based on research undertaken and nominations received by awarding body, Business Cloud Media.
Companies have been nominated with two key indicators in mind: their ability to disrupt their industry and to demonstrate a real impact.
Mike Braddock, Cimteq CEO, welcomes the nomination: “Over the past two years, we’ve embarked on an ambitious growth strategy at Cimteq. We’ve significantly increased the size of our workforce which has brought more, highly skilled roles to Wrexham. We’ve scaled up our presence at global cable and wire events, using these platforms as an opportunity to share our expertise across the industry. In the same vein, we’ve launched our online Cimteq Academy which offers best practice on all manner of subjects related to running a cable manufacturing business.
“Like many other businesses across the globe, we are currently facing extraordinary times. To make the final Wales Tech 50 through votes cast by our local community, global clients and partners would mean so much to the Cimteq team; particularly when we’ve invested so much in helping companies adapt to changing market circumstances through technology. Never has that agility been more important than at the present time.”
Votes may be registered at https://www.businesscloud.co.uk/wales-tech-50-vote before a deadline of Sunday, 29 March at 11pm.
The final Wales Tech 50 rankings, to be determined by a combination of reader votes and independent judging panel, will be published on Monday, 13 April.
