Cimteq were among the exhibitors showcasing their software products at the 30th annual event of Wire Dusseldorf earlier this month. As anticipated the expo was everything expected from exhibitors and delegates alike and much more. Visitor numbers were excellent and the calibre of new innovations being presented by the exhibitors was at an all-time high at the five day event. Cimteq were extremely pleased with the attention their booth received with old and new faces visiting to discuss the features and merits their various cable design and manufacturing software systems can offer and gain a glimpse of their latest technological innovations.
The exhibition provided the perfect arena for Cimteq and their partner InnoVites to unveil their latest joint venture – CableSuite. The package, described as a cable manufacturers dream, provides a single comprehensive set of tools in one place. CableSuite is a complete and fully integrated enterprise software solution that supports all business functions of cable manufacturers and distributors combining CableBuilder, CablePlan, CableERP and CableMES. CableSuite enables a cable manufacturer or distributor to significantly optimise and accelerate its business processes. As anticipated the interest in the product was extensive and the exhibition was considered to be an extremely successful showcase by both Cimteq and InnoVites.
This year’s event was particularly special as it marked the 30th anniversary of Wire Dusseldorf, something that the IWMA (founders of the show in London before it was moved to Düsseldorf) was keen to celebrate at its annual dinner. Amanda Shehab, Chairman of IWMA and Director at Cimteq gave a speech to mark the occasion. The dinner was attended by Mr Joachim Schäfer, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf and Mr Friedrich-Georg Kehrer, Wire Shows Project Director at Messe Düsseldorf, in addition to previous Chairmen of the IWMA and other dignitaries from Messe Düsseldorf and the IWMA.
