Cimteq 3D Printer competition and tutorial move online

Following the recent announcement that Wire Dusseldorf (originally due to take place this Spring), has been rescheduled to run from 7 to 11 December 2020, Cimteq is looking at alternative ways to share some of the messages that it had planned for the show.

In line with this, the company is rolling out three new ways of sharing the message. The first relates to the competition to win a Wanhao i3Plus Duplicator 3D Printer. Cimteq is pleased to announce it has extended the deadline for entries to this competition to midnight GMT on Wednesday, 15 April. Entries can be submitted through this online form.

The second is a special webinar run by Ali Shehab, Cimteq President on CableBuilder 3D, which will take place on 22 April 2020.  Finally, following the webinar, there will be a special downloadable on-line tutorial and CableBuilder 3D demonstration. It will showcase the latest iteration of CableBuilder3D which is particularly relevant in prototyping specialty cables and subsea cables.

Mike Braddock, Cimteq CEO, explains: “Like many industries in so many different countries, we are facing unprecedented challenges in how we continue our operations as close to ‘business as usual’. Our business continuity plans have been running for some time now; with the welfare of our staff firmly at the heart of our ongoing risk assessments.

“I would like to reassure all our customers that we will continue to help them meet their cable manufacturing requirements in a timely and profitable way. Our everyday lives, as unfamiliar as they may be at the current time, are inconceivable without cable and wire. We have a strong track record at Cimteq in applying technology to meet the demands of changing market conditions, and we will continue to share best practice through our online presence where we’re unable to do this in person.”

As a long-standing supporter of this most important bi-annual cable trade show, Cimteq is looking forward to engaging with customers and colleagues at the show in Dusseldorf later in the year.
